Our Seehotel Lackner ****S has been family-owned since 1919. It combines tradition and modernity in a unique way and offers our golf-enthusiastic guests the perfect atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying themselves.

Our comfortable rooms and suites look directly out onto the picturesque Lake Mondsee and the majestic mountains of the Salzkammergut. When the weather is good, you can relax in the hotel’s private bathing area with a lawn and bathing jetty…and because Mondsee is one of the warmest lakes in the region, there’s nothing stopping you from jumping into the crystal-clear water.

Our hotel on the lake has only 17 rooms and is therefore characterised by a particularly peaceful and personal atmosphere. Ideal for slowing down at hectic times, a relaxing time-out or optimal preparation for tough challenges on the golf course!

In our restaurant, award-winning chef Martin Lackner conjures up delicious gourmet experiences day after day that whisk you away from everyday life. A masterful chef with a genuine passion for sophisticated cuisine, he gives traditional Austrian creations a touch of international flair. Fresh, seasonal local produce is at the heart of our menu. Whether freshly caught fish from Lake Mondsee or exquisite saddle of veal, you will find fine wines suitable for every dish on our extensive wine list. Enjoy your meal: our award-winning restaurant has been recognised by Gault Millau and awarded 87 Falstaff points. We were also delighted to receive an award for Wine Restaurant of the Year.
