de gustibus non est disputandum...
Questions of good taste should not be argued!
If the Ancient Romans had played golf, they would have played here. Only here. Because in the middle of the Salzburg lake district, there is the wonderful place that GC Römergolf calls its home.
Adjusted for the landscape conditions, with all of its hills, valleys and forests, the 27-hole facility offers you a wonderful place for a game of golf and the experience of nature.
The course is impressive due to its natural structure, which is harmonically nestled into the historic area, because an ancient Roman estate slumbers beneath the sixth hole of the 18-hole course.
18 holes of challenges - the panorama course challenges you in a very special way. In a hilly location, it requires straight play and concentrated strokes. But does honour to its name. You will be overwhelmed: a golf dream come true at 630 metres above sea level. With its 4,765 metres, it is surely not the longest 18-hole course in the area, but due to its course design, it has left a mark on some people with single-digit handicaps.
The nine-hole Kornbichl course is not just a pleasure for beginning golfers. Conceived as a beginner’s facility, with its six par-three and three par-four holes, it provides variety and a relaxing round, so that new golfers, experienced golfers and professionals can be wished a “good game!” with a good conscience. And that all year round!
The nine holes, in a deciduous area, are open twelve months long, because cupiditas ignorat temporis anni — passion knows no seasons. The partially-covered driving range offers the perfect conditions for training and preparation for the round. Teeing grounds, bunkers, and a chip green and putting green are ready for your practice lesson.
